These terms apply when you use the KAR-VIO website, account and mobile app.

Using KAR-VIO

You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and use KAR-VIO only for lawful personal purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, access another person’s information or misuse third-party vehicle data.

Vehicle information

KAR-VIO brings together information from third-party and public sources. Records can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Always confirm important legal, safety, MOT, tax, price and charging information with the relevant official authority or service operator.

GPS Speed and safety

GPS Speed is an estimate and is not a calibrated speedometer. Mount and use your phone safely, obey road laws and never interact with the app while driving. Do not rely on KAR-VIO in place of the vehicle’s instruments or professional advice.

Community registrations describe vehicles and do not establish legal ownership or identify an account holder. Only submit car photos that you took or have permission to share. Do not upload visible faces, private addresses, unlawful material or content that infringes another person’s rights. Submitted images are automatically checked and may be declined when a car cannot be identified clearly or a person is prominent. KAR-VIO may review, reject or remove Community content and respond to reports.

Notifications

Reminders are a convenience and delivery is not guaranteed. You remain responsible for checking and meeting MOT, tax, insurance, maintenance and other vehicle obligations.

Availability and changes

Features may change or be withdrawn, and some features may be labelled coming soon. We may suspend access where necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or misuse.

Accounts

You may delete your account in the app at any time. We may restrict accounts used unlawfully or in material breach of these terms.
